Huis met de Hoofden (1622),
House with the Heads, Keizersgracht 123

One of the most important examples of Baroque Amsterdam Renaissance with a stepped gable with lots of ornaments. We see the heads of Apollo (arts), Ceres (agriculture), Mars (war), Minerva (wisdom), Bacchus (wine) and Diana (the hunt). Arms merchant Louis de Geer lived here from 1634. Joost Ritman of Bibliotheca Philosophica Hermetica is the owner of the monument.
